In a strategic move, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has unveiled the Dubai Economic Leadership Program. This initiative is set to pave the way for the next generation of skilled Emirati talent to take the helm in key sectors of the emirate, immersing them in the latest economic trends and expertise.

Developed in collaboration with strategic international partners, the program, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), aims to equip national talent with the necessary education and focused activities for future leadership roles.
Sheikh Hamdan's Vision for Dubai's Economic Future
Sheikh Hamdan shared on his official account on X (formerly Twitter): “Our goal is to prepare Emirati talent who will assume the responsibility to elevate Dubai’s economy and its future, fulfill its economic agenda, D33, and ensure sustainable growth. The nomination and application process is open to those who see themselves as part of the future of Dubai and the UAE.”
Aligning with D33 Goals
The Dubai Economic Leadership Program is designed to address the objectives of D33, focusing on doubling the emirate’s economic growth over the next decade. The program will explore new themes to develop promising national competencies, foster optimal conditions for leadership skill nurturing, and support outstanding talent.

Application Period and Duration
MBRCLD is set to open registration for the program between September and October. The Dubai Economic Leadership Program is slated to run for a comprehensive year, providing participants with a deep and impactful learning experience.

This initiative aligns with Sheikh Hamdan's commitment to steering Dubai towards a prosperous economic future. In recent news, Sheikh Hamdan also endorsed the Dubai Marine Transport Master Plan 2030, outlining ambitious plans for the expansion of the emirate’s marine transport network and pioneering the creation of the world’s first electric abra using 3D printing technology.
